[jf009] What the Gays can Learn from the Immigrants

Immigration is a hot topic. What do millions of immigration protestors provide for the GLBT community? A pattern to follow and a group to support. My partner and I disagree about Immigration, but we agree about this topic.

justin,
I just had the pleasure of watching this vlog, along with your last one (twice), and I gotta say — you’re blowing me away. Happy birthday to your dad, don’t ever lose touch with him.

Also, even though I’ve never been to a Pride celebration in my 40-some years of existence, I just made a promise to myself that I WILL make it to one this year. You’ve inspired me. Keep up the good work!

Glad you’re speaking up, Justin - you are not alone in thinking that there’s still so much *to* be done, and that *can* be done, before we can really party. Mind if we continue the discussion at the Willing Warrior forum? cheers, tp

Wow..loved your opening lines about the numbers of people….the twist it took was cool. I’m getting scared if I keep watching your propaganda ;) I’ll come out to my family!

Tim,

I can’t believe you’ve never been to Pride! But, good for you for wanting to go now. I am kind of a hypocrite, because for the last few years I have been one of those people who go to Pride to see the sights and enjoy the entertainment, and then go out that night and get blasted. However, I see the errors of my ways and realize I can party any day of the year. I guess I just really feel that Pride is a time to be proud and stand up for something, not to be a loud, drunk guy who tips the dancers too much (JOHN, this means you!).

Justin
