George W. Bush is coming to Oklahoma for the first time since he was elected President. Oklahoma overwhelmingly supported him in both elections, so this may seem like a good place to go to be around friends.
I’m pleased that there appears to be significant unity across several organizations to form a protest and to be heard. I plan to be in Stillwater, OK on May 6th for the event and will be vlogging my experiences there.
It’s also worthy to note that only two other sitting Presidents have given commencement speeches at Oklahoma State. The last was the President’s father, George H.W. Bush. The first? Richard Nixon. At least now they can say that they’ve had the two WORST Presidents speak on campus!
P.S. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. I’m feeling much better (except for my nose, which met with an elbow during a comical game of middle-of-the-night tossing and turning by me and Michael!). Look for a new vlog over the weekend or on Monday (whenever I get off my ass!).

That idiot came to Idaho last summer, I’m still not sure why. I think he probably thought it was Iowa or Ohio. Anyway, while the secret service hassled the locals for a few days, Dubbya and his entourage rode around the hills on their bicycles (I bet those trails were hell on Dubbya’s training wheels). A nice little vacation for the commander in chief though — and it probably only cost the taxpayers a few hundred thousand bucks.
