What I did and can’t do for Pride. Just me on the porch on a lovely Thursday evening talking about life, satan’s phone number, and fondue. I’m getting ready for a short visit to Tulsa Pride 2006, and a weekend of work. We have some friends who are visiting, so I’m sure I’ll end up going out again this weekend. I’m getting too old to stay up after midnight.

Great Vlog Justin..so bitter sweet. I am sort of convinced were sort of living out parallel lives or something it’s pretty creepy.

A very similar experience on the outset but of course mine ended a lot more painfully.. geeze.

Good post, Justin. I think I caught the subtle reminder, too. I’ll get right on that!

So far I haven’t had any problems when I’ve come out to people. That being said, I only came out last year (1st year of uni… so not too late in my life) and only a few of my uni friends know. Coming out to my parents and old schoolfriends freaks me out, though. I know that my parents will be okay with it (and I know that I have to tell ‘em soon) but I still kinda get the bedjeezuts when I think about it! I guess it’s easier to come out to people you’ve just met… they don’t have any expectations of who they have imagined you to be, and still have time to get to know you as a person. I’m glad that your friend was cool about everything. And, mate, there’s nothing wrong with the rants every now and then… it’s nice to see that there are people who really care about these subjects and are prepeared to voice their concerns. Good on yer!
