My New Car

Well, I finally I have pictures to share of my new car. Take a look for yourself after the jump!

Yeah, that’s my brand new car. Smashed to hell by a guy who ran a stop sign yesterday afternoon. Luckily he and I are both OK (besides some standard car-accident related aches and pains and a damaged tendon). My hot red car, on the otherhand, has seen better days.My post from last night (Bowling) was set to autopublish and went up while I was in the emergency room waiting to get checked out. I have some firsthand experience in how screwed up our healthcare system is, but I’ll save that for a vlog.

JustinB:

Oh, it’s not really that big of a deal. I’m just a little sore today, and the car can be fixed or replaced.

What was most eye opening was sitting in the Emergency Room watching how people were treated (or not treated). I can only imagine what it would have been like if there was some sort of disaster. Scary.

OMFG!!! Justin!!!

If I were the superstitious sort, I’d say this was a very bad omen. Luckily, I’m not the superstitious type. I’m glad you’re okay though — from the sound of things, no thanks to emergency room employees.

Damn, that “was” a nice looking Jetta. :(

Holy crap!! Are you okay? sounds like you are from the comment you left. That is terrible…bleah. I don’t believe in omens, only right and wrong and what you did (getting rid of truckasaurus) was the right thing to do. Rest up, relax, as long as you are okay thats all that matters.

Hey guys! Thank you all so much for checking up on me. You all are the greatest!

Thankfully, I’m fine. Still sore, but fine. Michael is taking good care of me. He asked me if it would help the process if I had a little bell to ring when I needed something. I thought that sounded like a great idea. Apparently he was kidding. :)

Look for a vlog post on Tuesday.

Thanks again,
Justin

Isn’t it just always the way! I wonder if anyone has ever done a study on the number of brand new cars that get in crack ups? Well, at any rate, you didn’t end up as an unpleasant stat yourself and you should be due some good luck after this!

Eeek - that’s no good! Glad to hear you are doing decently enough…
