It’s not that I haven’t had a lot to say. I’ve just been focused. I’m very serious in this post, because it’s a serious time. I can’t turn on the television, or go to my alternative media websites without seeing scandal. Why do we get so caught up in drama?

Battlestar Galactica premiered tonight, and my gods did they do it right.  BSG took the current situation in Iraq and turned it around on us, hopefully opening up a few minds along the way.

Isurgents and Suicide bombers?  Check.
Hated police force trained by occupiers to do their bidding?  Check.
President as puppet of the occupying regime?  Check.
Detainees held months without trial or charge?  Check.
Robot/Human Hybrids? Check.

Well, maybe that last one isn’t as important.  But that was a damn good episode, and a damn good premise.  I encourage everyone to check it out on SciFi or iTunes.  It’s worth the $1.99.

One thought I had:  If Bush watched the show, do you think he would relate more with Baltar and the Cylons or Adama and the Humans?  I have to wonder.

Sometimes technology makes it really hard to get your voice heard.

Ugh.
