Tulsa must be a pretty “aware” community. I loved the guy on the sidewalk wearing the “V” mask and outfit (V for Vendetta). With the Bush Co. kingdom falling apart at the seams, it does almost seem like there’s someone like “V” keeping an eye on them.

One could only hope.

A very nice touch to see a V at the demo.

As it was a peacful protest, why were the IMPEACH letters arrested? What reason did the police give?

Tim: Tulsa has a very strong peace movement. I’m amazed at these people…they’re very committed. I just wish I had the fortitude to get arrested with them.

Xander: My favorite part was good old Guy. He was a surprise and a welcome addition. The protesters were arrested as part of a planned demonstration for “impeding traffic” by laying in the street. They worked with the police to plan it so that everyone was safe and that there were no issues. Generally in these types of situations you have cooperation between the protesters and the police, because everyone wants to be heard, yet still be safe.
