One year ago today I was standing on an overpass, holding a homemade sign and making a stand against The Surge. Back then, I organized a protest, began attending peace events, and was hopeful that we could make a change. Tonight I stand again, this time wondering what we’ve accomplished in the last year and what can be accomplished in the next.
Included in this video is JF044, one of my favorite video posts. I described that video in this way back then:
“Action is contagious. In a fit of spontaneous activism, I organized a protest in Tulsa, OK, on the night of the President’s address to the nation. After sending emails to friends and family, posting bulletins on MySpace and on justinfeed.com, word spread. We were joined by a diverse crowd of people, all united for peace.
An investment of 4 hours resulted in an action that was fulfilling, enlightening, and may just have made a little bit of a difference.
The incredible music included in this post is “Dance No. 2 (For Three Cellos & Three Dancers)” copyright 2006 by Alexander T. Stobbs, used here with his permission.
Special thanks to KOTV Channel 6 for use of their segment.”

Hey Justin;
I was proud of you then, I’m even more proud of you now. What a great “Retro JustinFeed” video. And yes, you are making a difference (unlike myself, who just sits around bitching about BushCo but does nothing about it). You’ve inspired me yet again!
