You forgot my personal favorite which is "Butt Pirate." I am so thankful that at least nothing so serious happened to me in high school where everyone knew I was gay and people knew who I had crushes on. Ever since I saw that message from Ellen I see more and more gay bashing and gay jokes. It's disgusting. Don't know what can be done about it though.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I really appreciate it.

Just a couple of notes:

1. Gun laws that allow a parent to have a gun that a 14 year old kid can get and use to blow out the brains of another kid are incredibly fucked. It is insane that someone would be so cavalier with a firearm.

2. Most of us are lucky enough to not have gone through more than name calling. We're incredibly lucky in a world of Larry Kings and Matthew Shepards.

3. I love Chroma-Key, but I had some lighting issues that I've now resolved. Look for more of this in the future, and hopefully as skillfully done as Mr. Reid.

I have to say that I thought you did a great job on this video and the message you gave and the one that Ellen did was so great and that with education we can make a change. This is the main message of my podcast and hope by hearing our stories we can prevent what happened to Larry King from ever happening again.

Tim's right, this is a seriously fucked up world.

I don't know what else I can say. I find it very difficult to comment on entries like this, partially because I just find it so difficult to comprehend how a child can do this to another (and here I am going to do the limey act and blame the US gun laws), but also because (as of yet, and I know that its is a big 'yet') I have never had to suffer through any homophobic abuse. The most I've had to endure at school was 'fatty'. Clearly I have been very lucky.

Kudos to you (and to Ellen, who was very clearly moved by the issue).

On a lighter note, have to agree with Tim. The visuals were great.

Awesome. Totally awesome.

Firstly, the message and your delivery. Your videos always seem to have a point -- unlike mine. Aside though, it's hard to believe that any kid growing up in these times could have his life ended for such ridiculous, pointless, and hateful reasons. I can only imagine what kind of horrific, twisted ideals this "Brandon" kid's parents must have instilled in him. I blame them much more for Larry's death than I do Brandon.

It's a fucked up world.
(Aside #2: You got an excellent chroma-key, too! Love the black & white over the pink, very eye-catching.)
