Another brilliant performance by gay singing/songwriting sensation, heartthrob, and Tulsan Eric Himan! Watch him performs his song “Protest Song” live at Tulsa Pride on June 7. Check here to see if Eric is coming to your city for Pride. Don’t pass up a chance to see this incredible artist perform!
Don’t judge Eric by the audio quality in this video. This is my first experience recording a live musical performance and the site had audio issues.
“Protest Song” is from Eric Himan’s album Resonate. Support Eric and purchase the album in iTunes or on Amazon.

I received the private message above as a response to a video I posted to YouTube 7 months ago. This guy seems very concerned that I used Google to report information about and utilize pictures of a government installation in this video. It’s news to me that there is any secret about this plant, information about it is all over newspapers, magazines, Army websites, etc.
What’s sad is that I never said anything negative about the city of McAlester or the workers in the plant in my video. My video was only pointing out the GOVERNMENT’S misplaced priorities. Yet, I still get emails and comments like this one offering to cut my hair and kick my ass.
This is sad to me, because I AM a “little faggot with a camera” but I do love my country, which is why I speak out when I see something very wrong. It is sad to me because I think that we can do better and should do better. Instead of the government employing people to work in a bomb factory, let’s employ them to work in a milk factory, or a factory that builds clean energy devices. Let’s employ them as doctors and nurses. Let’s employ them to build roads and bridges and fix our decaying infrastructure. Let’s do something positive with these people who work so hard for their country.
Unfortunately we can’t talk about those options, because we can’t have a civil conversation without someone threatening to kick someone else’s ass. Sad, but it’s the world we live in, the world created by those who continue to push bombs as the solution to everything.
