Paestum is an Italian city that was originally founded in the 7th century BC by Greek colonists. The ruins of the Greek and Roman structures still exist and are beautiful given their longevity.

Ooh, now that is purdy! The parentals went to Pompeii last year (why I wasn’t able to meet you when you were in the UK), and granted that looked cool… but the Greeks are always gonna beat the Romans (copycats and cheats that they were) hands-down.
Admit it, though, there must have been a little gomo part of you that wanted to whisper a quite little “So say we all!” while you were there!
